A plain-language summary of the rules for using MagicOptix desktop, portal, licensing, metering, and support services.

Important note
This page is a practical product-facing terms draft. Before using it as final legal terms for paid customers, have it reviewed for your jurisdiction, company details, refund policy, tax handling, and payment provider setup.
1. Scope
These Terms apply to the MagicOptix website, customer portal, desktop application, license services, and related support services.
MagicOptix is designed to help teams automate production workflows using their own Photoshop and Illustrator templates, structured data, assets, and output folders.
2. Accounts and Access
Some features require an account, an active license, and a registered device. You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for ensuring that only authorized users access the software.
MagicOptix may verify your account, license, device, plan limits, and session status before allowing desktop workflows to run.
3. Licenses and Usage Limits
Your plan may include limits such as monthly executions, allowed devices, and available features. When usage metering is enabled, the desktop app communicates with the platform to reserve and complete execution events.
Execution metering is used to provide access, enforce plan limits, prevent abuse, and support billing or entitlement decisions. It is not intended to collect your full design files automatically.
4. Customer Files and Adobe Workflows
You remain responsible for the templates, images, CSV files, fonts, brand assets, and output files you use with MagicOptix.
MagicOptix does not guarantee that every Adobe document, layer structure, script, third-party plugin, operating system setup, or local file path will be compatible in every situation.
5. Diagnostics and Support
MagicOptix may store lightweight execution metadata needed for support, licensing, and plan usage. Detailed desktop diagnostics are sent to support only after an explicit user action.
A diagnostic report may include execution summaries, runtime logs, local paths, result references, template labels, error messages, and workflow context that help support investigate an issue.
6. Availability and Changes
We may improve, modify, suspend, or discontinue parts of the service as the product evolves. We aim to avoid unnecessary disruption, especially for paid workflows.
Some features depend on third-party systems, including Adobe applications, operating system services, email providers, payment providers, and hosting infrastructure.
7. Payments, Refunds, and Support
Paid plans, invoices, refunds, and support commitments may depend on the offer purchased and the payment provider used.
Unless a specific written agreement states otherwise, support is provided through the channels made available by MagicOptix and may require diagnostic information to reproduce or investigate an issue.
